Everyday the latest headlines news constantly remind us how bad things are… and how things are only getting worse. Many people are scared and wondering what is going on with the economy and how it will really impact everyday Americans.

The National Community Reinvestment Coalition and USAction are planning a massive week of action around the economic crisis.

Town Halls and other community-based activities are currently being planned in 30 cities across the nation, from Newark, New Jersey to Phoenix, Arizona. During this Week of Action, advocates will speak in favor of immediate passage of a significant and broad-based economic recovery package in order to prevent what leading economists are calling an “impending depression”.

Come and join the fight for better jobs, homeowner protection and health care coverage. We believe that the road to economic recovery must include more help for Main Street.
