Stand with Melanie, not the insurance CEOs

Though she was given only months to live, Melanie Shouse has beaten the odds on her breast cancer and continues to survive. Her reward from Wellpoint health insurance? Refusal to pay for the medicine she needs.

Next week, the CEO of WellPoint and the other biggest insurance companies in America will be in D.C. to congratulate themselves on making record-breaking salaries and tell our members of Congress to oppose health care reform.

Help Melanie and people like her by signing the petition below - we'll make sure it gets delivered to the CEOs, and your members of Congress.

Health insurance reform is about more than profits and deficits. It's about real people who need help. I demand the CEOs of the three largest insurance companies sit down with the people they've hurt, stop dropping our coverage, stop denying us care, and stop opposing real reform in Congress that gives us the choice of a public insurance plan.
