No Military Blockade of Iran

There is resolution in the House of Representatives which would require the Bush administration to impose a blockade of Iran. (H.CON.RES.362) The legislation already has 247 co-sponsors and may lead to a military conflict between the United States and Iran.

"I urge you to oppose the Ackerman Resolution on Iran. H.CON.RES.362 is an unnecessary and belligerent escalation of our current policy towards Iran. We don’t need any more fear mongering, militant posturing, or another war in the Middle East.

Instead, I urge you to support engagement and unconditional diplomacy to resolve our differences with Iran. "
