Don't let insurance companies dictate reform!

Obama's committed to giving us the option of a public insurance plan in the past, but insurance companies are trying to talk him out of his pledge by promising to cut costs. And while we can't get a seat at the President's table, we DO have access to a widely-read public forum: our local newspapers. Write a letter to your local paper that reminds Congress and the President that health care reform needs to work for us, and demand a public option.

We've included some talking points to help you get started, but your letter will be most powerful if you tell your own story, keep it short, and use your own words. Once you are finished with your letter, simply click on the 'Send Message' button and your letter will be sent. This will also confirm your TrueMajority membership.
