You've probably seen media reports that crazy hecklers who equate insurance reform with Socialism and call our first African-American President all sorts of names are getting their way by killing the public option. But the media is wrong, and so are the hecklers.

The public option is alive and well with the support of over 70% of Americans, powerful members of the House and tons of opinion leaders. The only place the public option is in danger, is in the US Senate.
